Nice Idea. I think I'd like the chrome on both bottom and top though...

Since you have chrome lips I'd leave it alone unless you're going to paint the lights black too and then leave both upper and lower blade chrome with middle black.

i love the idea. If you leave it stock it matches wheels, if you paint it matches mesh. I like matching the mesh since it's in the same area. It's a win win though.

I would recommend that you do both upper and lower bar chrome so it stays balanced.

I have the sport bumper which has more black on it and the lower vents are painted glossy black too, as well as blacked out headlights. It looks great on OB. Maybe all black with a VR emblem?

Eliminating exterior chrome FTW.

another idea would be top and bottom lines go with body paint red and emblem body paint red....just an idea...dont chew me out

It's a modified stock grille, search I believe there's a member that will mod for you if you like the egg slicer look. Otherwise I hear there's a new grille coming in a few months that sounds to be worth waiting for. As you can tell I'm no fan of the stock grille in any form.
