That car looks really clean, if I were you I would get that grill that looks like the infiniti one w/o the logo to really throw people off!

I like the way you think. As of right now, that is the plan. But I'm still trying to decide what direction to go with color. What she wants is a little hard to accomplish but might be doable. That grill is plastic and she wants black chrome. I need to dig a little deeper but I'm working on it.

That's the grill but if you read into it deep enough, it comes "unpainted", "black primer finish". Andy sells that grill as well.

We're not man enough for the 426 Hemi. Actually, that's a lie. My dad worked on many a Hemi back in his drag racing days and they usually had a 6/71 or a 8/71 sitting on top of them. We were just talking about punching this 6.1L out to 426 cubes but not quite yet. We'll see how this goes first. So far he has added a ported throttle body, cold air intake, 180 t-stat, predator tune, cat back Corsa exhaust, and high flow cat/midpipes. Right now we are working on a ported intake manifold, ported heads, aggressive camshaft, and ported exhaust manifolds. This is going to be sweet!

Nice. That Corsa exhaust is gonna sound rediculous! My buddy has a Corsa on his 06 GTO and it is beyond loud. Sounds like quite the project you have goin on there bro. I'm helping my neighbor rebuild his 440 for his 70 Cuda project that he's working on. I recently sold my 69 Dart. Had a 360 bored .30 over with all the fixings. Running high 11's low 12's all day.

Man I miss it But i'm helpin my pops with his 65 Jeep CJ5 too, so that's helping me stay somewhat sane

That 70 Cuda is my dream car. I'd love to work on a 440. That a whole lot of cubes right there. Here's a link to what has been keeping me sane for the last couple years: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2299721

If you want to do black chrome for the grill, I think Lou@amplified did one. It was in a post but the photos don't show up now. It was painted though with the inside of the headlights painted black chrome as well.

I'm looking at doing black chrome all the way around.

Had a snow storm here during the install so we left the G on the lift. The roads should be fine enough this weekend to go pick it up. I might get it aligned there before driving it a couple hours back here.

The SRT8 has a built in 0-60 mph timer that is pretty accurate. The following years had an 1/8 and 1/4 mile timer as well. Here is my time 0-60 mph after the first set of mods.
