My GT-R Style Overlays Installed

Got it done this morning by Nissan4LIFE in Temecula. He does great quality work and I'd highly recommend him for anyone in the area. Here are a few pics shot from my iPhone. I'll take some with the digital camera later in a week or so when I can wash my dirty @$$ car.

Everything lined up fine. It was a b*tch to line up everything perfectly, but the nice thing about this overlay is that you can use the reverse light cutout as a reference point. As long as the installer knows what he's doing, there shouldn't be any problem.

Nice, looks like a clean install.
It's like hit or miss with these things.

Did you watch how he did it?
Do you think one that has never done any tinting in his life (like me) can pull it off?

I think that you'd have to watch it being done at least once to have a good chance of doing it right. At the very least, watch a detailed DIY video or something. I briefly considered trying it myself, but after watching Ramon's work, I was quick to learn that I would've failed. He said it took much trial and error to learn, and I believe every word of it.

Thanks! I'm definitely happy with the outcome.

Gaps along the edges? Haha no idea what you're talking about...do you mean the overlay didn't wrap around the tail light?
