For some reason i feel it looks different on your car?? mine stuck out a lot. like i could put a lot of stuff on it when working and cleaning the car for shows. Also, the reason he can't change the position of the rods is b/c the splitter, made of CF, was pre-drilled. He could put new holes in it and try to plug the old ones but that will look awful in real life. I think if you got some Volks or HRE's or maxs DPE's it would really set off the car and the splitter.

PS- if you don't attack them they won't attack you. posting pics on a public forum is asking for people to say stuff, good or bad. In the end if your happy and like what you got don't worry about others and what they say. you should read what people say when i had recaros in here and put it on youtube. **** it!!! CF front splitter is sweet!.... good luck with it man... i hope yours dont end up falling off in the middle of the highway like mine has.... can you post a picture from the side?

 

actually if you bolted it in there nice and tight with all the holes that were there, you could run without the rods. I had it rodless for a while but mine wasn't fully tightened. almost lost it one day going to HIN San Mateo but the side bolts kept it on there.

Honestly you can hate all you want, I'm the only one with a CF splitter (thanks solo) and I love it. I love how my car looks and even if every person in the world hated it, I'd still love it. I hate when ppl do the same look all the time... mix it up put you in it. My next 2 mods ppl prob won't like either but I'm still going to post them and the reason I post pics is bc ppl want to see what I did.


Solo: the splitter is tucked further on me because I cut the plastic off the bottom of the bumper so it sits flush. I figured I'd keep scraping it and it was pissing me off to install it with the plastic there. There are only 6 screws holding it on because it was a pain in the a$$ to install so I want to def keep the turnbuckles there. I like it and I can def feel it at high speeds with the wind pulling the front down. Still need one more screw and to put the lip on.

The guy who made the aluminum spoiler comment: I'm not going to even waste my time on you, if you don't want to look at pics of my car just don't click on any post I make, its that simple.

Nice man, with all the G37s that are popping up here around town, yours will truly stand out. I agree about the angle of the rods but you can't always tell from pics. Question, is the splitter flat or is it contoured to the bumper, I'm wondering if something like that would work with my non-sport bumper.
