im starting to doubt painting my roof and rear valence because of the 09 "scratch shield" paint. doh.

good point would a body shop be able to do or get the special clear coat?

just saw his ride in person. those pics don't do justice at all.. sick a$$ ride, very nice and even drop, and the rims compliment very well. love the black roof and painted tails/heads/third brake lights/valance.. JP kit looks really sweet too

paint is the only way to go. saw the light output with my stock tails with his smoked tails and not much difference in light output at all. juz wanted to affirm this for those still wondering about affecting light output with smoked tails.

remember to smoke the third brake lights too.. significant improvement in looks after seeing his and mine..

I had mine painted also and there is not much difference in light output.
