Some LEDs (also dieseldoug's ambient lighting mod)

Changed out the map, door, trunk, and license plate lights to LEDs......
License plate

Passenger door

Driver door

Trunk

Map lights

The map lights came out to be brighter than it actually is. Might have been because I used the night time setting on the camera so it captured more lights....

I've also bought white LEDs for the door if the blue ones get too ricey for me.

Now, onto the more interesting stuff...
After seeing dieseldoug's ambient lighting in person at a meet, I encourage/pestered him to make a DIY and here are the results:

Passenger side, dim (blue)

Passenger side, dim (white)

Passenger side, bright (blue)

Passegner side, dim (white)

Driver side, dim (blue)

Driver side, bright (blue)

Driver side, bright(white)

It gave me a hard time at first but it was well-worth the trouble. This mod not only allows you to adjust the brightness via a potentiometer but also the color of the lights through a simple switch since 2 sets/colors are mounted on each side. BIG thanks to Doug for his generosity and for putting up with my PMs . I believe he has the kit for sale if anyone's interested.

EDIT:
DIY

Haha, would you rather have my foot there or just my slipper. Besides, you know Adidas are awesome.

And yes, map lights and trunk light were 921x12LEDs, license plate and door lights were x5 LEDs from superbrite.

Doug sells the kit if you guys are interested mainly because the LEDs come in a strip of 26 for $30 each color. If you want both blue and white, the LEDs will run you $60 and you'll only use 1/13 of it. So, it's more worth it to get it from Doug if you don't need the extra LEDs

The POT and switch are cheap, maybe 5 bucks each or so. Same goes for the wire. You'd need a drill and soldering iron if you don't already have one.

It took me a while to figure out all the necessary steps I need but with detailed instructions, it shouldn't take you more than an hour or 2.
