IP w/ custom roof overlay & limo
no real nice scenery here.. just a few pics i snapped outside of my house after covering my roof with black vinyl. i promise to snap some real legit pictures at better quality too
also, the whole roof including the satellite fin are covered with one single piece of vinyl in these pictures. the fin itself does not look perfect, so i ordered a painted fin cover from the dealership that i can use to make my roof look cleaner. many of you asked me how to take the stock satellite fin off, i have not done so yet, but i posted a picture of the back side of the fin i ordered so it may give you an idea of how to get it off. im guessing push it from the front and pry it open from the back. either way, i'm not too worried about busting the original one open if i have to.
thanks for all the PM help you've given me ucla bruin
the inspiration for my roof vinyl idea.. my mom's E class with a panoramic roof:

custom in a sense that its not bats.. i had this done at a shop in alhambra, and the guy cut the film himself, installed it himself, and did the fin pretty damn well considering this was all made using a single sheet of film..
from the past i know bats made some great products, but i cant speak for his overlay yet because i have not seen it personally. should be pretty much the same with the exception of the fin work im guessing

it looks and feels like paint. most people wouldnt be able to tell the difference
best part.. i can take it off if im tired of it, no need to repaint
