Tons of Amethyst Graphite exterior pictures
The color of this car changes as the sunlight hits at different intensity. The colors I've seen in the car are silver/blue, silver/brown, silver/purple. I love how the color changes. I'v uploaded 5 pictures here. I've uploaded 100 pictures at http://www.pbase.com/dhilbe/g37. Enjoy.

OMG, DRH.... You are truly the photo KING with all these awesome pics. I'm still saying WOOOWW... CONGRATS!!
BTW, what kind of price did you get from West Infiniti? Also, what color tint is on your car?? I don't want it too dark. That is perfect for me.

They are the same darkness but the platinum graphite has a hint of beige in the hue whereas the amethyst has a hint of purple/violet in the hue. Under many lighting conditions they'll look the same, but in other cases they'll look quite different.
Basically the AG looks as if it has a purple tinted clear coat on top of silver metallic paint.

I believe I have same model/color combo as DRH. Amethyst Gr. w/all the packages except sport package. I bought the car on an overcast day and it damn well looked gray. Next day, it was sunny and noticed a subtle shade of purple which kinda freaked me out at first. Then, as the angles changes, it looked to have a blue tint to it, then brownish, etc. Thought I bought a damn chameleon.
At first I started regretting not getting the Black Obsidian, but now that i've had it for a month, I have no regrets at all (especially talking to people who have black and are having trouble w/swirl marks, etc.). I get compliments all the time and most, if not all, the G's in the Atlanta area are black, white, or Plat. Graph. Its good to stand out. My 350z (that I traded) was Gunmetal Grey and after a year, every Z in Atl was either silver or gunmetal. Drove me crazy.
The tint on the car looks great which is what I'm going to do first once I find most reputable tinter in Atl area.
Nice pics and great looking car.
