RIMS are lookin SHINY! I think mine faded cuz i may have used a harsh rim cleaner called RIM BRITE by Sonus.
As for the towel... Waffle Weave Microfiber all the way. I heard "The Absorber" is good too. Can find at wallmart... i like the flexible nature of cloth tho.

So I can get the absorber at walmart? Is it "waffle weave microfiber"? I'll just use the absorber for now. I'm also going to need to get a new waxing kit with all the essentials and good wax/sealant.

It comes in like 6 diff colors. It's not waffle weave microfiber, its a synthetic material. You should head over to the car detailing section on this forum if u haven't already. Will help ya with ur wax/sealant and ish.

Another thumbs up for the Absorber! These things are the best. I have 2 of them -- absolutely the best drying cloth I've used since it leaves no material/fuzz behind and is fully washable. I picked mine up at PepBoys on sale a few months ago for $6 -- usually around $10.

Waffle Weave MF FTW!!! It's softer and gentler than a baby's bottom.
Try running the hose over ur car at the end of the wash (with no nozzle attachment or anything) to sheet off the bulk of the water, then you just need 1 waffle weave to do the trick.
It's pure pwnage.
