I never associated the G35 coupe as a classy car. The 2007 G35 sedan I consider classy yet sporty... same with the G37. It's what Infiniti intended with this next generation.

Both beautiful cars, but I agree with many other posters that the "hard-edge/aggressive/muscular" stance of the previous generation looked superior and has been lost somewhat on this model. Infiniti translated things fairly well into the new design, but my gripe (especially looking at the side profile) concerns the bulbous front quarter panels.
From the A-pillar back, the sporty theme still ultimately prevails, but up front the curvy, upscaled theme takes over, creating a conflicting design IMO. I suspect the hood lines were altered to fit the revised VQ engine (more smoothly done than in the Z) but I would have rather seen the car's profile continue to flow aggressively down instead of up. (if that makes sense)

At first I was skeptical of the G 37, I have had 2 G 35 coupes, one AT, and Black 6MT, now in an M 35. After the new videos of the G37 on Edmuds and various other sites, I have fallen in love. Now have an order in for a Vibrant Red sport. I think this will be a car that grows on people rather then instant love, due to our faith to the G35.

35 - edgy.
37 - altima coupe.
the 37 looks more like a nissan then a infinty.
I dislike the headlights for having amber in them.
Although the interior is a different story.
