Seattle G37 owners advice/info

Hey everyone, I picked up a G37 recently (journey coupe, sport) and I had a few questions:

- Where do you guys get your oil change (I'm around exit 171) and for how much? I hear some dealership charge $120 or something. Also, do you use ester oil?

- Which dealerships I should avoid? I hear Nissan Eastside is horrible.

- How many of you have the clear bra on? What was the cost and where to go if recommended?

- Do you have use the full service car wash places (not self service ones)? If so, where's a good place?

- How many times have your drove your car and say, "Damn I have the best car on the road"

Infiniti of Kirkland told you $120 for an oil change? Did they tell you if it was regular oil or ester oil? They told me $200 for an ester oil change so I told myself screw that and so I do my own oil change. I use Motul 8100 and had not have any problems with it.

The only local Infiniti dealership is Kirkland. The next closest one is in Fife. I try to avoid going to the dealership unless its something I cannot do myself. They charge a lot for any work on the G37.

I got my clear bra from NW Autoshield. I believe I paid $600 flat for half hood, whole front bumper, fenders, side mirror, headlights, door cup, and door edge.

I never used any full service car washes and definitely not washes from dealerships. I only trust myself for washes and detailing

talk to linda at Kirkland. Tell her Vik (indian guy) with blue G37 from Cali sent you. She is way cool and super helpful. I have not yet used them for anything, as I don't need anything, but I bet she can get you a good deal.

Thank you guys for the reply. Mr Vik do you not live in Washington anymore? Also, should I still consider the clear bra even though there are minors paint scratches? Nothing too bad, but the previous owner ran into some typical front bumper highway chips.

I would fix all the paint defects first before placing a clear bra. The whole point of a clear bra is to protect the paint from scratches and chips. Placing the clear bra over the defects defeats its purpose.

I usually takes my car to Firestone for full synthetic for about $50. Dealership in Kirkland was going to charge me $200.

Yeah, the dealership in Kirkland is a rip off. $200 for oil change and they wanted $700 for 15,000 mile service.

I know this is a late reply,

I go to Park place for car wash and also my venture shield ( clear bra)

They hand wash your car , as well as interior/exterior detail.

Maybe a little pricier compare to other, but thats where all those hot rides around go.
