you should be able to get it done for under 500. I know dealerships will end up calling the same glass company you could use and will charge like 500 more for it. Just cal laround and good luck. Sorry to hear this. I know i follow way to close for comfort but always or at least try to stay far from large stone throweres.

Wow that seriously sucks bro... that exact thing happend when I was bringing my 03 Coupe back from Scottsdale, AZ ... I was driving in Portland & some truck was driving in front and made a HUGE rock chip, but luckily I just went to a rock chip repair place that same day and got it taken care of before it became worse

Yeah - mine was bad enough that it "became worse" instantly pretty much....

I know the body of the car isn't affected, but I just don't care about the car as much now....I'm not being nearly as into it since the "incident" as I had been.

I always watch out for cars ahead of me if they have mud flaps or not...if they don't...i change lanes.

Replaced the glass - my insurance deduct was $500.

Good hting is however it is the factory glass I suppose.

I got bit by a raised truck, no mudflaps redneck on the day after I bought the car. It was only a pin head chip in the windshield, but still pissed me off. Decided not to have it filled...
