bad experience with infiniti fairfield
sorry i dont know if this is the right section to post this in.
but heres my bad experience with infiniti of fairfield located in california. everywhere ive searched people have had good experiences with them but for me it was total opposite
i bought a 2011 malbec black infiniti g37s sedan limited edition from this dealership used with 17000 miles on it and i imported it to canada. after the vehicle got here i noticed theres only 1 fob no spare. and there is no wheel lock key. and the key inside the only fob isnt even cut and plus the only fob has a nissan logo on it but that doesnt matter that much to me as long as it works.
but the fact of the matter is i paid $45,000 for this car taxes and shipping included i would expect everything to be perfect condition. i get that the first owner may have given only 1 key to them but the dealership should go and provide a spare and make sure the wheel lock key is there.
the car itself drives okay there is brake pedal shudder and wind noise from the front windsheild.
anyways i decide to call this dealership to tell them about this and there sales department never seems to pick up there phone or even if you leave a voicemail they wont get back to you. i even tried emailing them and nothing. so last friday i decided to tell the operator i want to speak to the sales manager and i told him my problem. he told me he would look into this and get back to me he took my name and number down. its tuesday now and seriously it doesnt take that long to look for a spare key and wheel lock and even a phone call with an update wouldve been good.
overall i wouldnt recommend anyone to buy a car from infiniti of fairfield. pics at the bottom of the fob i got with no cut key. i am going to keep fighting to make this right. even if in the end it involves me to take a 14 hour drive down there.
anyways what do you guys recommend i do with this??

I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with your newly purchased G37.
From what you have posted, it appears that you purchased a $45,000 used car from a dealership in CA that is a 14 hour drive from you without having first inspected the car “in person” and taken it for a test drive. Is this correct?
At any rate, a 2011 G37 with 17000 miles is still under full factory warranty. I would start by taking the car to your nearest Infiniti dealership to see exactly what is wrong with the car. If the problems are covered under warranty, then they’ll fix them for you at no charge. If they are non-warranty problems, then you can do your best to get the dealership in CA to cover the costs, but I sincerely doubt that is going to happen.

Wow. I'm genuinely surprised you experienced such a problem with an Infiniti Dealership. Luckily, this is the second Infiniti I have owned and have yet to experience a problem with any dealerships. It is not a surprise to see the sales manager going the extra mile to register her and apologize publicly. THAT is true Infiniti dedication to maintaining their client base. Hope everything turns out well for you kdawg.

if it was a certified car then it would come with 2 keys, (even if the certification was taken off) what it appears to me, they knew they were shipping it, they took the two fobs, gave you a nissan one because they figured your too far away and screwed you. Sight unseen or not fairfield is an INFINITI dealership not some 2 bit dealership with flags on their cars, you woudl expect them to have a good product. Hopefully this gets resolved, I know the dealership I work at would never do anythign like this.
