Local Body Shop with Self Healing Paint
I have a 2009 G with the self healing paint. Somebody backed into my rear bumper and I need to get it fixed. I called a few shops around the area asking about the self healing paint but none of them have it available.
Anyone experience with getting repairs done?
Thanks!

I had mine done at Bryant Auto Body in San Francisco.
Bryant Auto Body: San Francisco auto body repair and refinishing; honest, quality, & experience
If I remember correctly, they used the PPG CeramiClear since you can't actually buy Nissan's Scratch Shield Clear Coat.

Thanks for the reply guys. I actually gave each shop that PDF but all the shops I looked at don't carry any of the listed clear on there.
Any shops in San Jose area?

^ Yea I checked with Beshoff and went to a shop they recommend the last time my car was hit and they screwed up the repair.
Paint had dimples on it, scratches INSIDE the car and a few nicks on the body. Not sure why Beshoff recommended them...

it's going to be tough to get the self healing paint to match exactly. that's something that's coming from the factory... they have equivalents but it's not going to be the same.
the dimples mean the clear wasn't sprayed on thick enough. HOpefully they used an equivalent clear coat... some places are retarded (places with long history) and are still using like acrylic paints... loooks sooo bad... shiny... but bad...
just go for a PPG paint body shop and you should be good. how bad is the hit? is it paint and body? or just paint? I have a place you can go do locally that services all of the BMW and MERC dealers on stevens creek
