After you arrange a meet at Burning Man, I'll see what I can do.

Absolutely let's coordinate something. We can prepare about a week out once I figure out if Chris and anyone else from the TN area wants to meet us in the Leesburg area. We can cruise up the country way through Maryland versus taking beltway and the congested route through Tyson's/Beltway/95/etc.

I believe that Chris and I are tentatively planning on going through WV on Friday. I'm not sure what he'll want to do. I know it'll be about a 10 hour trip from Lexington to Scranton.

Ahhhh fooooo. I'll be driving up Saturday so you guys will be half a day ahead of me. Looks like I'll just be forming a cruise up from NoVA.

If there is anyone besides Kevin who is coming up from NoVA, let's coordinate a meet and cruise. I know STownSaint is in Arlington(maybe?), and Tifosi (Kiran) and 91zcpe (Alex) are close to me - not sure if they're planning on coming or not but it would be fun to have a few guys for a drive up. I am going to try and bring a passenger who can shoot some pictures as well.

I'm game for either, the last time I came home from NJ it seemed it was a lot easier coming through WV and upper MD but we can take look at the map and see what makes the most sense. I think from Lexington it would be WV and upper west MD but I'm not certain. We could also hit the PA Tpke shortly Pittsburgh....

Connoisseurr you're thinking to come up into PA around the Harrisburg / York area just above Baltimore? 81 has seemed to work best for me in the past but 84 may be viable, not sure. We may be able to hook up around Hagerstown depending on time frames and which way we all wind up going.

Sounds like we may have a mini-meet on Friday night?

Well normally when I go up to PA, I hook 15 to 81. 15 comes through most of VA and then 81 will go through Harrisburg, like you mentioned above. Definitely the best route in my eyes.

Where did you guys plan on crashing Friday night? There is a HUGE car show in Sterling, VA on Friday nights at a Chick Fil A. Plenty of hotels in the area as well. Another thought for you guys - make it up to NoVA late Friday afternoon/evening, y'all can join in the car show Friday night and then we can set off in the morning.

Otherwise, my plan was to leave around 8AM Saturday morning and make my way up there (with whoever else wants to join).

That sounds like a cool idea, provided we can make it in time. What do you think Chris?

Lexington to NoVA is just at 11hrs and some change. Depending on where you guys were planning on crashing, this will be one more option to add in.

I just looked it up and it's about 9 hours.

Originally the plan was to drive to PA and just spend the night there. But it would be awesome to incorporate a bunch of G's for the drive from Sterling to Scranton.

I have no clue where I got 11 from but 9 sounds even more reasonable. Let me know what you guys think and if you're game, we can put final details together.

Define illegal, HA. Honestly when I use mine, as soon as I hear a band go off, I unplug it and toss it under the seat. I frequently regret not pulling my stealth system out of my Mini Cooper when I sold it. Ended up wiring the sensor into the rear view mirror and the band module was installed behind the dash with an On/Off switch underneath the shifter boot.
