I'll just expand the contact info, if that's what you want. Let's see what people say they're going to bring before we actually count on people bringing stuff.

Have at it.

You are not allowed to bring alcohol into a Pennsylvania State Park. Keep that in mind.

If you get arrested by a ranger, IDK you, man.

I could grab some BBQ sauce and dry rub? I imagine most anything else that stays in the car for three days isn't going to be so edible by the time Saturday rolls around.

I'd go to costco and buy a lot of sodas and such, but my car'll go slower from the weight.

Does anyone know if the park supplies outdoor grills? I know at least in NY you need permits or a reservation to use the ones at the parks.

I don't know. To be honest, I'm kind of wondering if the Park has issue with 15 - 20 cars showing up and taking over a parking area. I just assumed it would be OK, because State Park. But this is PA, and ever state has their own rules.

AFAIK, the Francis Slocum State Park doesn't require entrance fees, so there's that at least.

Suppose we should research this a little better.

I just called the park direct at (570) 696-3525. Here's the run-down, and we're good to go for a group of 15 to 20 people, and 15 to 20 cars at whatever parking area we settle in; first come; first serve.
  • Reservations are not necessary for a group this small.
  • There are no entrance fees; just drive in.
  • Absolutely no alcohol in the park. Period.
  • Trash bins are available; no littering.
  • Picnic tables are available near parking areas; first come, first serve.
  • Grills are available near parking areas; first come, first serve.
  • No firewood; charcoal only.

Seems about perfect. As long as we're respectful to other groups and people, we shouldn't have any issues.

Excellent!

I've updated the Contact Info page for attendance and stuff people are bringing, click here: G37 Sedan Meetup

You guys remember the password, right? I PM'd it to you a few weeks ago.

Post us what you're going to bring either here, or in a PM, and I'll update the list.

PA state parks were usually pretty good, I used to go in Pittsburgh pretty frequently.

Charcoal doesn't go bad, I can bring charcoal? Paper goods too if needed. I'll be on the road starting Thursday so cooler etc won't really work for me.
