I'm reluctant to even post this here because the last time I posted a meet on this forum, there was some interest, but not one member actually showed up! However, I haven't lost all faith in the G community because I'm trying again...

That said, who would be up for a cruise/meet to either Foxwoods or Mohegan?

This will not happen if there is not significant interest. Please do not say you're interested if you think there's a good chance you will flake. I'm not asking for a 100% commitment - I know things come up, but if some people make sacrifices and efforts to attend with the hopes of meeting some other enthusiasts only to show up to a meet with three other people, it will be quite a disappointment.

I think one of these casinos is a good location for a meet. I am hoping to attract G owners from all over the Northeast region. The plan is to establish a couple different caravan 'meet-up' points and cruise as a group. We would then meet at the casino, hang out, meet each other - put some faces to usernames, take some pictures, then maybe grab dinner, and then everyone would be free to do as they wish from there...

Also, I would like to keep this 'G's ONLY' for now. Depending on the interest generated, I may post this on the Z boards, but I'd like to see what kind of response I get here first...

As the title states, this is just a FEELER for now. If there is enough positive response and we actually agree to do this, we can then establish a few caravan starting locations.

oh man! that's going to be one helluva fare hahaha. we don't have that large of a crowd here too. it takes a lot of effort just to get a normal meet going. kinda disappointed with the NorCal folks.

Thanks, man. I was actually just looking up flights to CA today. They were around $320 - $380 roundtrip.

Granted it was late in the season but we did plan the event pretty far in advance. We had a decent list but the typical rule of thumb is to expect half of that actual list to show

Anyways June 4th is a ways away so i'm IN as of now. Just to clarify, when you say "G's only" u mean V36?

Rubbish, dude... Regardless, it was still a good meet. We raised a decent amount of money and collected a bunch of toys. I want to do it again this year and hopefully it will be bigger...

Yeah, I figured I'd give plenty of notice with the date... And what are you talking about with this, "as of now" crap? You better be in!

V35's and V36's are welcome... I only said that because I liked the idea of meeting the guys on this forum, as opposed to having a bunch of people with whom we never interact. However, if we don't get a fair response on here, we can open it up to other forums. What do you think?
