Philadelphia, PA tint?
So I was thinking of tinting my new G37x. From reading around the web it seems that technically it is illegal to have less than 70% for any window in PA, but there is some ambiguity in the enforcement of the law.
For those fellow G owners in the Philly area who have tints, do you guys ever have problems with the police? What about the yearly inspection?
As a side note, I'm not looking for anything darker than 35%, if that matters at all.

u just got ur car, u won't need inspection for another 4 years. Keep an eye out for cops and just roll down ur windows when u pass them and roll em back up afterwards. Tickets are cheap and no points, pay it and go on with life. Tints are more than just looks, they protect the interior from degrading. Go for it but don't get 70% get like 35%

I'm in Philly and I've had mines tinted for about a year and haven't had any problems with police.. I have 20% btw..
Also.. If you haven't picked a place yet.. take a look at this post in case this is where you're considering..

In Philly, tint is all in the eyes of the officer. If they can see you inside the car, it's legal. That's what my inspection shop told me, and they don't enforce tints for inspection.

I got mine down at a reputable shop on 27th and south street. Not sure if they are still there or not. has anyone been there?
20% all around except front windshield for two cars.
1first car is about 6 years now
and my car now is going on 3.5 years.
tint still looks great, no fading, no tickets (knock on wood).
sunsational is good, lifetime warranty for any defects in the tint, however cost is really high.
car optics is a good place also.

i like my 35%. I think it makes the cars appearance so much more appealing and im really happy i got that done. with the 35 its not that dark and you can still see inside. i have never had a cop look twice at me with this tint although im in the chicago burbs.
