tempting, I will be up in that area for a concert on the 21st. I'm in virginia beach now. I've seen a number of Gs around here including a 2011. Would be nice to get a meet setup.

Anyone have any Tint shop recommendations?
I just made an appointment with TNT tint, but after doing more research, I saw a thread on the vadriven forums with a bunch of bad reviews. Anyone else have any recommendations? Prefer it to be not too far from the Northern VA area.

Never heard of them. I did a search on the NGC forums and the MD thread over here and people were saying United Solar Tinting does a great job. They also were pushing Driven Dynamics.

The film I believe is warranted...but I don't know what that means as to if there are any problems. It's just bad business to warranty something that is potentially illegal. Pretty sure every tint shop will tell you the same. I'm sure that if there are any problems they will take care of you but that is probably something you will need to ask any place before you get it done.

From my experience, the film is warrantied but not the work. When I had mine done in VA, they said they'd take care of it if I brought it back to them with a problem, but they couldn't put anything in writing to protect their a$$. I don't think it's legal for a shop to warranty work they are performing illegally, you know what I mean?

As far as warrantied tint. I know i've had to sign waivers before to prove they said tint was illegal. Tint i have now has lifetime warranty with 1 year free labor. So if theres a problem down the road i just pay the 50 bucks labor and he'll replace whatevers wrong. i dont think any place would put new tint on for free because you got caught with illegal tint

Gotcha.
My main concern is with the tint. I know that if I put on illegal tint, that if I have to take it off, that's going to cost me out of my own pocket.
My concern is if the installer puts it on wrong, or errors from his install or on the film itself.
Thanks for the insight though.
