Ya we set up a few tents to be able to stay out of the sun also. We'll all be meeting up before hand then driving up together. They just haven't posted the pre-meet yet.

Not yet. I'm having a helluva hard time finding one. We've been to every dealer in the area and they all said they'll call us the very moment they get one. We bought the Explorer from Bowditch in NN and since they gave us an awesome deal back in 08, I hope they get one first and I can get one under MSRP.

The Titanium is just the trim model, top tier, all options.

She haven't decided on the color, but as much as I don't want another black car, it looks great in black. I know I'd lower it on Eibachs and slap some spacers on it the moment we get it .

The Focus is the best C-Segment car, period. Ford has been making great products for a while, and I'm glad they're finally best in class. That Autoblog review reflects that and after owning quite a few Ford vehicles, I can attest that they're great.

Geez, feels like I haven't been on here in forever. I've been lurkin' for the past week or so.

The speed 3 is fast. That thing is full of torque. It's hard to get moving with all the torque steer and wheel spin, but that thing can move when it's going 60 to anything more.

Negative, for a number of reasons...

1. I've driven the Mazdaspeed3, a good friend of mine has one and made the mistake and gave me the keys, and I drove it like I stole it. Aside from the fact that it was quick, I hated it. The torque steer was downright scary for a FWD car. Pop the clutch, wheel shakes, floor it, hit 2nd gear and HOLY CRAP! You'd think a gremlin was in the steering rack doing its own thing.

2. I wasn't a fan of the red lighted interior.
3. I hate that stupid smile on the new one.
4. The gas mileage sucks, and if you keep the boost high, it drinks gas like no tomorrow. I think it's rated at 18/26. Focus is rated at 27/37 and we do a lot of highway driving.

It was quick, but I wouldn't even call it fast. It FEELS fast because of the power band, but it ran out of steam fairly quickly, as it ran out of power. Power delivery is quick tho, gotta love boost.

My G, even on stretched tires would walk a Mazdaspeed3. I'd be behind from a dig, but around the middle of 2nd gear, it'd be an L for the Mazda.
