Yep, i got a ton of different things over the past few weeks. I got the 55" Samsung LED LCD. It was 3850 and i got it for 2250+250 for extended warranty. Day before thanksgiving sale at best buy. Man this thing is awesome with a PS3 bluray. My theater is now complete.

The samsung LED's are fantastic. They have the best picture quality on the market hands down. The less than 2" thickness is nice too!

I hope you have a nice sound system to compliment the blu-ray and the TV.
Good sound really makes the difference for watching movies.

Yep, i have been building this for a while. I have the PS3 for blu-ray, Onkyo TS-x707 for the A/V, direc TV, Polk Audio X 5 for speakers with (4) more to add and polk audio powered subs x 2. It is awesome to watch movies and games. Not to mention the 10 person poker table for the poker nights.

I don't think anyone else in this topic is from Northern VA. There is a topic for the MD people, and I know many of them hang out with people from the NOVA area...But it's that we are expanding. The more NOVA people we get, the more likely the meets can be held in Richmond and I won't have to drive too far, haha.

Dude blu-ray looks amazing. I wish I would of bought it sooner. A must buy if you have a decent HDTV. Everything just pops...its insane.

I will most definitely be getting the floyd/manny fight, even if it is $70. so plan on that night for sure. We can play some poker before and watch the undercard fights then rock some pizza and watch the main fight. I will send out invites when it gets closer to the date, it looks like march, apr or may time frame.

too bad this forum wasn't up before. I was in Norfolk for the past few years. Just moved to Annapolis. I drive down quite a bit since i know people in the area...and i can't miss that manny/floyd fight. That'll be sick.

Not really. The G35 Richmond guys are pretty tight, and I know that they meet up sometimes. I wouldn't mind having more meets, though. Maybe we can get in with the 35 guys.

I can't wait for the fight either. I really can't see Floyd winning though...
