My first video with the GOPro. My commute home from work (normally takes 45mins, but I sped it up 10x).
Nothing too exciting happens lol, except I try to pass the slowpokes whenever I can .... and u get to hear the intakes : )

It is sweet. Only problem is that the video straight outta go pro is awesome quality but anytime I edit it with anything (windows movie maker, AVS video editor etc) the quality goes down big time (even if I export it as the same h264 AVC codec that it's in). Any advice? I have a copy of adobe premiere but haven't bothered to try it yet...would it preserve the quality better??

My uprev is just a non-custom tune directly from Uprev. I paid $500 and got a cable. You send them a copy of your ECU and they crack it and put their tune on it with some basic improvements (optimize for your preferred octane gas, remove WOT restriction 0-60 etc). Not major gains but the car drives better. Then you can datalog and they will adjust your fuel to the target AFR based on your logs (you can do that 3 times for free).
I'm quite happy, definitely felt the car behave a little better and with the cable i can check codes whenever I want, clear them, datalog the car. Pretty useful for me cus I am out in the boonies and try to figure most of my car stuff out on my own.
However, there is nothing like a custom tune! I am waiting on Hill's to get me in for one but since I am AWD Frank can't use his dyno so we gotta find an AWD one.
The quote I got for custom tune was $350 for the custom tuning, 300$ + tax for the software (I already have it so that part would not apply to me) plus dyno rental.
Did you make it out to the cruise? I was bummed I missed I was in NYC with the wify last weekend. Hopefully they'll be one more.....more opportunities to use the GoPro.

Thanks coolraz!
Is it a ECU to labtop cable that they send you, or a hypertech looking device and a cable?
I was just checking the price that Hiils Garage gave me. Same price $670 out the door, Uprev license + dyno run to tune it. I heard around $500 out the door in CA or in NY, but it's the only one near us, so no competitive pricing. Didn't put my FI test pipes and NST pully kit on yet, after that going to get the Uprev at hiils or in NY. It rained on the cruise meet, so it was called off. Maybe next time!

Just thought I'd say hey... The name's Dorsey, though I go by Micron to plenty of folks.
I'm up in Nottingham, would definitely be up for a gathering/ride sometime.

I got a strut bar done there so my engine bay matches. Took them a few hours, a shop I go to OneEightyOne Motorsports in Annapolis takes all their powder coating there. I haven't heard a bad thing about them. Price all depends on color and such, but they do rims alot there. Its worth stoppin by
