Infineon raceway, used to be called Sears Point, they have 1/4 mile drag races there every wednesday nights, no weekends at all as they are saved for main events.
You get to run against all kinds of cars in street class, one reason why I stopped going was due to cops waiting outside the gates and giving tickets out to modfied cars.

About a year ago, I went with my 3000gt VR4 and they pose as the normal racer guys and ask whats under your hood kind of thing, most of the guys like to show all their artwork and the more regular guys do not open their hoods at all.
Once they see what you have then they write down your plate and just let the police at the gates know to keep an eye out for them. This was awhile back so things may have changed but the amount of people who go is unbelievable, you barely get 2 runs in before the elimination rounds.

The last time I went there was 5 years ago with my stang. It was pretty laid back with no cops. I guess it's a lil different these days. How much is it now? I think I paid 20 or 30 the last time.

I think it's about the same amount still, like I said, it's been a year plus for me also. Back in the day I used to run against the cop cars at the strip, it was all fun back then but times have changed as the racing scene got bigger.

The 18's are no longer available- I have decided to keep them...for now.
