Also, that was the only time i had someone detail my car..sure i waxed it before but never had it professionally detailed.
The bottom line is that he screwed up and probably knew it and did not admit to it, sure it was my fault that I did not tell him at the time but also, i never had it detailed, so i thought it would fade but a friend of mine said..what happened to your car..someone messed up.

My advice to you, Donnie, would be to take your car to someone who specializes in restoring paint. You can give Phil Wong ADS Mobile in San Bruno a try. He will wet sand your paint and then polish/wax it. I’ve seen some before and after work from him and it’s pretty amazing. I’ve taken my car there once and he did a great job, but once the wax wears away there were swirls galore from the wet sanding. I did not have the time to take my car all the way to SB for the required upkeep so I looked for another option.

I do agree, however, that Hemant should have assessed the condition of your car when you brought it to him and let you know what he thought the best possible results were going to be. I’m sure that’s a lesson he’ll take with him from this incident.

I am a farily easy customer, I trusted him that he did a bang up job, I just did a walk through in his garage and even tipped him, which came out too $200 total.
I do apologize saying a quick buck but I do NOT retract my statement that he did messed up my car..
I will post pictures of the detail, since he is not willing to show any signs of making admends (that was for you superdds, hehe).
the proof is in the work..

I will apologize to the people that had to read this.
My apologies guys.
You did a walk through in my garage. I didn't rush you to leave my house. I never rush any of my customers. I never stopped you from pulling it out to look at it. I encouraged it, I left it in my garage because my area is dusty and I didn't want all the dust on your car. You tipped me because you personally believed I did a good job. If you believed that I did such a horrible job, then why tip? You should have said something that day. I would have been more than happy to correct any mistake I did within a reasonable amount of time. You could have called me the next day or a week later, but months later? This isn't like engine work where you find out a problem months down the line. You can see the work. This could have been resolved a long time ago. I will apologize for making any personal remarks, which was bad judgment on my part.

This was my first detail and basically didn't know how it was suppose to come out..seriously. i'm not a detailing expert and never claim to be but once again, i trusted you and didn't think i needed to take it outside. Now i know better not trust outside detailers, thanks. You taught me a good lesson.
But my personal opinion still stands and now i have to pay more money out of my pocket in order to get it fixed. So, was it worth it, nope. Would I ever let you buff my car again, nope.

Hey guys, just a little note. Call me for appointments or any questions you might have. I've been getting a really busy with this and life, so I'm not frequently at the computer. Pm response might be a tad bit slower than usual. Calling is the best way. Number is on the first post. TIA.

Cool thanks again Mike! Keep her looking pretty... I went over car care steps with you as far as washing and what not right?
For all of you guys, here are a couple tips, I'm sure they've been posted by Picus too. His write ups are extremely detailed (no pun intended) and very informative. Please check it out in the detailing section.
Wash top down, IE roof first, then windshields, trunk, roof. Then do the sides in sections. I basically split it in half, rinse off the top half and then do the bottom. I like to rinse the mitt off after each section just to make sure there isn't dirt on the mitt.
2 buckets, clean (soap) water and a plain water bucket for rinsing out the mitt.
You can use a couple mitts too, which helps prevent scratching/swirling. One for the top and one for the sides.

I can vouch for hemant for the type of work hes done. Great job car came out clean. So did our buddies 350z. correct me if im wrong, but if there were some swirls before and you detail the car but was not able to get the swirls out, wouldn't it make the swirls standout more since the car was super clean? Esspecially if its black? I sure hate black, should have gone white =) When my cars dirty and i wash it, i find scraches that ive never seen before when its clean. I figure if the car is dirty the swirls wouldn't standout as much as when its clean. Just a thought. Perhaps you might want to do what we do at work hemant and do a vehicle checkin and before and after pix. Saves me a lot of head aches when customer comeback saying we did something wrong, and I show them the check in with there signature showing it was there before the install. Something to consider. Oh yea i may have to bring in one of my most sexy vehicles to you.....the Si =) that car needs some loving. But she needs to run first =(
