My G37 has 130000 miles and recently fell into a bad habit of not starting properly. when it first started occurring it would make a loud clank noise from under the hood for a split second and then run 85% of how it should. As far as my knowledge i don't think I've jumped timing or blown a head gasket as it doesn't overheat and it drips water out the tail pipe which I'm told is normal. like any other g37 with stock cats my passenger side one did clog and end up rusting apart and now I have a massive exhaust leak and possibly blown my manifold gasket on the passenger side as i seen smoke (granted its 2 degrees outside) coming from the right side of the motor. following this issue as i was start and stopping my motor to see if the issue was persistent i noticed that the RPM gauge was delayed and would only read the rpm a couple seconds after the initial diagnostic start up don't know what's up with that. IF ANYONE HAS HAD THESE ISSUES AND HAVE ANY ADVISE AND MAYBE SOME HOW TO FIX IDEAS THAT WOULD BE PERFECT AS I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR MY VQ ROAR AGAIN!!! THX in advance I have a 2010 g37x journey premium
