Hydraulic clutch system failure
I have on my G37 s convertible 6mt since I ordered it new and have been very lucky not to have any major issues last Thursday I stepped out to go to lunch and noticed the clutch pedal to be halfway down I drove it home from my office in San Francisco to my home on the peninsula 25 miles without any problems shifting gears the next morning the clutch pedal was all the way to the floor and now won't go into any gear so I imagine it's either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder that is inside the clutch housing
I own a forklift resale business and is pretty good with electronics and hydraulics but I am too old to be crawling under my car or working in a confined space under my dash nowadays
Can anyone have you guys who are in the San Francisco Bay area recommend a shop that is knowledgeable with the G37 hydraulic clutch system that is honest?
Also if I need to change the slave cylinder and the clutch assembly what aftermarket brand do you guys recommend as I was reading on your forum people suggest not to go OEM when changing the clutch slave cylinder
Let me know what you guys suggest thanks Albert
