First car, after purchase maintenance?
So I was originally going to go with a g35 because of my budget... but this popped up for a good price and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own this car!
2009 G37x sedan with 110k miles. PPI found no major issues, the paint needs lots of work though. It's my first car so I'm hoping to learn a lot while it's with me.
I'm driving it across Ontario Canada next week, is there any general maintenance I should definitely do before leaving?

Do you know when the oil was changed last? That is one of the go-to things I do for cheap insurance on ANY new vehicle purchase. Buy could tell me that they changed it yesterday, but for the cost, its just easier for my piece of mind.
Not that it is needed before your trip, but with those miles, it would be a good time to change spark plugs (again if there is no record of it done)

My general long-trip premaintenance is oil and filter or top off if recently changed, check brake pad thickness/fluid level and clarity, check levels on ALL fluids (including trans and diff, which require a lift/jackstands) check tires, check belts for excessive cracks, fill up washer fluid (seriously, many people don't and regret it) and vacuum interior. That's for 1k + trips.
New car maintenance I'd have all fluids changed/flushed, serpentine/drive belts changed, and then drive it a while and see how she does.
