New owner of a 2010 G37s Sedan Anniversary Edition

Hey all,

I recently purchased a 2010 G37s. I live in the New Orleans area. I’ve been lurking on here for a couple weeks trying to get some info on mods that I can do. There is some very helpful info that people have put on here. Great job goes to the admin for making it pretty easy to navigate the forum. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and give y’all some info on one of your newest members.

Welcome twin! The AE is one fantastic car. Check my thread if interested in what your car would look like with certain mods.
Show some pics of that interior!!!

Here are the pics of the interior. It is almost identical to your interior prior to you fixing it. I have been reading up on the best way to fix it from info on this forum. I’ve ran across your post on fixing the seats not too long ago. You did one heck of a job getting them back right. My neighbor told me to call his interior guy, just have not got around to it yet. I ordered some vinyl to fix all the trim. It should be here in a couple days. I will post pics once it’s done to show y’all how it came out.

Question, should I start a thread like you have to show everyone my progress with the car as I fix it? I plan on cleaning it up and making her clean again.

Here are the interior picks you asked for.

I know it looks bad, but I plan on changing that.

Yes, the guy I bought it from had them installed. I have the OEM ones in the trunk right now. I’m not even sure they work.

Luckily I work with the guy I bought the car from so I should be able to get some vinyl to fix the seat. The color is pretty close to the OEM.

The seats are leather, not vinyl. Not sure how you fix that kind of damage.

The exterior looks good in your shots, but that interior... yikes. Shame too, the AE is a unique car. Hope it works out for you.

I just need to replace the side piece that is ripped/peeling. The part of the seat that looks like a rip from front to back is actually the threads that came out. I just need to get that re stitched. And also get some of the actual leather part of the seat died somehow. Bull has a thread that he replaced and fixed his seats that almost looked exactly like mine. Im going to get most of the info that I need to do mine from his thread.

when I showed my wife the pics of Bull’s interior she thought she was looking at mine. Almost identical

Tripped me out to see your interior
It's good to see also because it shows our most common wear marks. I suggest you make a thread to post your progress with the car.
Junk yards on my end are starting to have these cars and many of these parts interchange. Feel free to reach out!

On another note they made 350-450 of these cars. I have been trying to find if there's a way to find out which one do we have.

@Rochester The only leather part of the seat is the one your body rides on. If you see the sides are vinyl.

I have been trying to contact this place in Florida that has a bunch of Infinity cars that they part out. I’m sure you heard of them, I believe you or someone else might have mentioned them in a previous post “American Auto Export”. I actually ran across them on the Offer Up App. I’m hoping to be able to get a few things from them. I have tried to contact them about a few different things but they have not responded. I guess I’m going to have to call them. Question Bull, I see you painted your interior trim. What did you use to paint it? I ordered some gunmetal black vinyl. Gonna see how it comes out.

I looked at the build month on mine. It was built on 1/10. But I’m not sure how to find out exactly what number mine is in production. If you ever find out how to see what number you are in production of these please let me know, You got me curious now.

I will go ahead and start a new thread with my build. I appreciate your help.

Raza @ American Auto Export 954-999-5755. Tell him Oscar with the G37 Anniversary sent you.

I used Rustoleum Semi Gloss for the interior. I tried with vinyl and the vinyl I got was not cooperative so I ditched it and painted it.

I recommend you look into the M34/45 shifter **** and boot. I despise the "*******" look of the ****.

I live right outside New Orleans. I can get to Baton Rouge in about 45 min. Looks like I’ll be taking a trip up there SOON. I also found a G37 at a place called Pull Apart. That one is also in BR. I didn’t even know about the place you showed me. But they are both pretty much the same thing. Pull what you want off the car and they charge you by part.

I appreciate you, I’ll be up there probably in the next couple weeks. I have a rotating schedule at work and I get 5 days off at a time. I just need to wait till my next days off when I have plenty of time to get what I want.
