Newbie to the site

Hey guys. I'm a new member and need help. I bought a 2013 g37 S Salvage title which I'm still repairing it. The car wasn't hit hard. I replaced the front bumper, the right side headlight and the radiator support. Anyhow, the radio and navigation don't work. I can hear the satellite radio playing but no display. Please help, thanks!

First, welcome to the site. If you haven't already, locate and download the Factory Service Manual (FSM) for your car. This will prove priceless when working on your car.

As for your radio/NAV issue, I am assuming that the display is not working as you said you can hear music playing but nothing shows on the screen. For starters:

- When you start the engine does the INFINITI splash screen appear?
- Did you check all of the fuses? Both under the left dash and under the hood/next to the battery? If memory serves there are at least two different fuses for the display.
- Was there any damage to the dashboard, ie. air bag deployment?

While rare, it is possible the impact knocked out your display, but I suggest more troubleshooting first (checking harnesses, connectors, etc.).

Thanks for welcoming! Where can I download the FSM?
The INFINITI display screen does appear when I turn the car on. I pressed down the radio power button but I only get the satellite radio. I checked every fuse and all of them are good. There was no damage to the dashboard and the airbags are intact. I appreciate your help!

Just choose the year/body of your car. Each section is a PDF file.

You will need section AV for the radio. However, I would download all of the sections as these links lately have had a tendency to disappear.

Your issue is not fuse related as everything powers up. Once everything is up and running is there anything on the screen?

If you have a question, you should start a new thread in the right forum.

Such as electronics.

Welcome!

I'll iterate teahead's comment, this forum is to introduce yourself and your car. Technical questions need to be posted in the appropriate Tech forum category, in your case, Tech/Audio, Video, Electronics.

Welcome to the site, you'll not regret signing on.
