New Owner 2013 Infiniti G37 - Few Questions
Hello Everyone
Just purchased a used 2013 Infiniti G37 with 27,000 miles on it. Absolutely love it. I do have few questions:
1. At what mileage should i change the Brakes? Can the rotors be turned?
2. The tires are worn, but they met the Dealership's minimum spec. What type of tires are recommended?
3. The front drivers seat sometimes seems loose and during hard brakes or accelerations, i feel it move just a tad bit. Anyone knows of this issue?
My car is still under factory warranty, so any information will be much appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to the site Jimmy.
Congrats on your G, looks like a clean one.
As far as brakes, that really depends on how it's been driven, my stock brakes still had life on them after 50k miles. You need to have them inspected for pad thickness, and if your pads are really worn then also check rotor thickness. Rotors can be turned if there's enough thickness left, the specs should be printed on the rotor.
Unless you plan on doing a lot of driving in freezing weather you should be able to get by w/ Summer tires year round, these typically perform much better in the wet & dry vs. all season tires (of the same quality). BF Goodrich SportComp 2 are available in your 17" size and would be a huge upgrade if you still have the OEM All seasons. There's not many UHP summer tires in that size so that's what I'd get.
You might even consider going up to 18" wheels, lots of nice ones to choose from and then you could go up to a much larger selection of tires, just a thought.
As far as the seat, hard to tell without seeing it, might just be something new to you, but again, hard to tell. Might take it to the dealer if you have one nearby just to ask if it's normal.

Thank You Brad and Thank You Kenny. I do live in California so I'd say basically summer tires all year round would be the way to go. This is my daily driver and I love driving it everyday so far. The only problem is being in LA, there is so much damn traffic that I cannot truly enjoy the speed this thing has to offer LOL.

Buttonwillow ansd Willow Springs are not that far from you. Check the track schedules to see who's running and join with one or more of the groups. I've run Buttonwillow and the small Streets of Willow tracks, I like Streets better because of the elevation changes. Didn't get the opportunity to run the big Willow track. This was fifteen years ago with my Sentra SE-R.
