Happy new G37 vert owner
After 6 Months searching, looking at 328s, IS 250Cs, Eos and dozens of G37s we finally found the perfect G37 Convertible for my wife. Bought a Vibrant Red with Graphite interior 2010 Base model from Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis. They were a great dealer to work with, gave us a good deal, worked well with all my questions and special pictures pre sale. Wife and I drove out, picked it up and drove home to St. Louis. Had a not so good experience with another well known long established dealer in my home town, almost bought a different G37 vert from them and glad I didn't.
I used this forum quite a bit when deciding on what car to get, helped me look at problems with some cars, decided on the Infiniti over the BMW or the Lexus. But the final answer was from my wife since it is her car and she is in love with it already. Thanks to the member community for all the info on the forum. I'll keep up looking for the help and tips.
Looking forward to many years of driving pleasure!

Have a 69 GTO convertible 400 4sp I've owned for almost 35 years in serious need of restoration. Have a 66 GTO Hardtop with a 428HO engine transplanted out of a 69 Grand Prix and a 75 Honda CB550 with 22,000 miles on it. My driver is a 2011 Cadillac CTS with the 3.6 liter V6. That replaced an 04 Grand Prix GTP with a supercharged 3.6 liter V6. The Infiniti replaced my wife's Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a car guy and I've turned my wife into a convertible lover. She plans on getting license plates that say "Beyond". She wanted "N-BYND" or something like that but it wasn't available.
I'll get some pics up soon, I promise!

Congrats! We are a new 2010 G37 Convertible family also. My wife was unhappy when I gave my 1969 GTO Convertible to my youngest sister, so I promised her a "new(er?)" convertible for the coming spring/summer.
So far so good on ours- not many miles driving it yet.... it's still winter here!

Welcome to the site! It's always nice when a new vert owner joins up. So give us some details man! What sorta mileage is on the 2010 red vert for the wife!?
Any thoughts on modding!!?
Pics would be appreciated too. Just create a photobucjet acct and it's easy as pie.
You can also check my build thread of you wanna see what it looks like for a vert owner to catch the modding bug!! Careful tho.

G37 had 34k mIles on it when purchased. Wife is primary (read ONLY) driver. Don't plan on mods, I like them stock. I haven't even put any mods on my 69 GTO other than a tach (who ordered a 4 speed car in 1969 without a tach???). I get to mod and play with my 66 GTO to get the car fix but mostly it is just keeping them going. 50 year old car parts are expensive.

I hear you on the mods- my only plans at the moment are to replace or fix SMALL items that need attention on the G37 (first on the list- dented and scratched door pull trim!!!) and perhaps add a few small things like all-season floor mats.
