New G37s Owner SoCal
Hi all,
My name is Michael and I am a new member on this forum. I recently purchased my first G having formerly owned several V8’s and was hesitant to get into my first V6 sports sedan. After my previous car (’01 Mustang Bullitt S/C) I needed something more practical for daily driving but couldn’t find the right combination of size, affordability, performance, and looks. After many test drives and much deliberation, I finally zeroed in on a 2013 G37s Sedan with 9k miles and 6MT and could not be any happier.. Thanks Carmax!
Although I am very pleased with my purchase, I've had some time to get to know the car and here are some of my gripes:
1. Seating position: I am 6’2” and found the seating position to be very elevated and unnatural. This was an easy fix with the seat lowering mod and now I feel more comfortable and engaged while driving.
2. Clutch feel: I feel like I’m still learning how to drive a manual when changing gears in the G (especially gears 1-2). I have ordered the AFP pedal assembly from RJM to correct this problem. I will be attempting the install next weekend and wouldn’t mind any tips from anyone who has successfully completed this install. Hopefully I will get around to posting a write up on it if all goes well.
Other than that I absolutely LOVE my G and am very pleased with my purchase. I look forward to seeing all of your setups and what this forum has to offer. Thanks guys!

Nice intro Michael, looks like a very nice S Sedan you found
Here's a few threads that may be of help as far as the RJM upgrade, should be a great addition

Enjoy that G and post some pics of Bullitt if you want.

Here are some pics of the Bullitt. I know it's not related to the theme of this forum so hopefully I don't get bashed on my first post! It was a great car, only 40k original miles and 1 previous owner, unfortunately I just don't have the space for two cars.
