got my G yesterday, still getting used to it - a lot of gadgets and settings!
coming from an Evo X MR, which in comparison, is fairly simple. i'm taking a downgrade in performance, but a upgrade in luxury. i don't often get to use the full ridiculous power of the Evo, but handling and braking are important to me, and the sport package takes care of that.

i've always liked performance cars that are weird or not too common (no Camaros, Chargers, etc.) and the G coupe seems to fit in with some of my previous weirdo rides ...

the To Do list: have to install my powered Kicker sub, Plastidip the chrome strips surrounding the grille, treat the leather with Leatherique, clean throttle bodies, and do something about the paint chips on the hood ...

anything else i should add to the list?

Nice "official" intro Landshark, looks like a nice XS you found. There's plenty of things you might add to the list but I'd browse the coupe & performance folders to see what stands out to you.
A Subie SVX~haven't seen one of those in at least a decade, and a 928, interesting duo.
Glad you found us!

Hey man welcome! Awesome car I just got the same one last week in silver, don't worry you get used to the gadgets pretty quick I actually skimmed through the manual for the first time in my life because the first day I had it I thought it was crazy, awesome job on the grill I actually wanted to do that, any tips? Did you just tape things off around it or take the grille off??

Sorry about that I was skimming through while I read your post I thought it was dipped! It actually looks really good with the two chrome strips, I wanted to dip my original to look like that, I look forward to seeing how your dip comes out

I figure I don't like it, I'll just peel it off and go back to the chrome.

Nice find. I'd suggest vinyl wrapping the chrome strips though.

I heard wrap is difficult in tight corners

I tried wrapping the entire thing and it was extremely difficult. Keep in mind, I've only ever wrapped my interior trim. Just the chrome pieces shouldn't be that hard

I have experimented with small pieces on my bike, flat surfaces like interior trim or anything are easy, anytime there's lots of edges and corners it gets very difficult and hard to get it right, needs a lot of patients but that's just me I'm one of those people who looks for the smallest imperfections in my own things haha. I would almost rather buy a legit grille so I know it's 100% otherwise it would bother me

I actually just had my grill painted in OB. Since you have the OEM midnight, I guess dip or wrap makes sense. Also I'd suggest swapping your interior, door, trunk & license plate lights for 5000K or 6000K LEDs

did that in my Evo, will do to the G soon. priority is adding powered sub, and possibly some Infinity Kappa components to the fronts to help the sad excuse for a "premium" sound systen that Bose has given us.
