Arrow Finally Bought a Coupe

Longtime lurker, first time poster.

This is my third Infiniti, first Coupe. It's a 2011 G37S with a whopping 21k miles! So far loving it- just wish the damn entry/exit features worked like it does on the sedan!

Cool pic!
Congrats on the coupe. What mileage and mods did you have on the other 2 Gs?
Post some pics and info on those if you have the time.
Glad you signed up.

You switch it up every few years but stay Infiniti.....yes! I'm loving it already, plus you've got an eye for great backgrounds on your pics.

I'm a loyal Fugi man myself. But I keep mine for several years each. 8 on my 35, prolly gonna do the same with my 37.

Nice grab with your first coupe. Those sport bumpers really do it for me.

Long Story

I actually lost the red car when a Prius ran a red light. Hit me in the right rear and popped two air bags. They totaled it and I went shopping. It was December and too nasty to ride my bike to work so the search was brief. I wanted a Coupe but couldn't find one at the time.

Then the grey 20th anniversary edition sedan popped up. I liked the red interior, extra body farkles and it had nav. At the time I did not realize that an S on a 4WD sedan was mostly eye wash. It was a fun car but I still loved the styling of the Coupe.

It's the first Japanese car I ever bought. Now I'm on my third Infiniti.

The only mod I'm thinking about right now is to de-chrome the rear spoiler/trim on the trunk. Looking for a vinyl wrap that matches Graphite Shadow.

I'm with you on that. I was actually thinking about how hard it would be to remove that lip spoiler, but haven't done any research on wraps or removal.

Also, welcome!

I don't think it would need to be removed to wrap it.

I installed the factory spoiler on my red sedan- it's a couple of hours. The factory units come with excellent instructions and a template for drilling the holes. No big deal.

But they are EXPENSIVE.

And honestly the lines of the car w/o the spoiler are great. Personally I think the spoiler on the sedan actually detracts from the clean lines of the car. I only bought the spoiler to kill the chrome!

Very artistic photos!

Congrats on the new G Coupe! I'm a big fan of the Graphite Shadow on the coupes.
