Looking to join the Infiniti family
Good afternoon everyone
Coming close to finishing grad school and boy am I ready for a new car. Prior to school I had an 04 STi and then moved on to a 06 Evo IX RS. Miss both of those cars, had to sell the Evo prior to starting school. Can't wait to get back into driving a proper car. Presently I'm commuting in a 2000 civic Si.
So I'm considering a G37S Sedan 6spd. I absolutely will be doing a review of the forums BUT do you guys have any advice that are willing to share? How do you like the brand, dealer experience? How is the long term reliability of these cars.
Any information will be absolutely appreciated.
Thank you
Demis

Welcome to the site, sounds like you've got some nice taste in rides
Infinitis are a good quality vehicle and opting for the 6MT will get you all the good sport options the car has to offer. The clutch spring is something that gets attention around here, there's a simple spring swap that yields better clutch engagement.
You should like the reliability, they should be an improvement over the Subaru & Mitsu, not quite to the level of Lexus but still quite good.
Keep us posted on your search & good luck!

Its hard to bet a G37 of any year or style! We opted for the G37S convertible. It is so much fun riding with a hard top that folds into a convertible...just don't plan on carrying anything in the trunk! The manual would be fun as well, of course we have the manual selection on our auto which I use sometimes for the heck of it. Welcome to the forum

oh nice! i think you came to right place to ask about a G my friend, you already know you like the G you like the way it looks, you like the back of it, you like the power of it, what else can you ask for??? haha jk but really, the G37 wont be out of style for a long time, theres a hefty amount of mods you can do to personalize it, the sedan i believe is even lighter and quicker than a coupe ( -_____- ) lol AND if you ever have any troubles or questions this site here is the best to ask it, someone will definitely see and theres always someone to help on this site everyone on here is awesome , ive had a few issues with my coupe and ill start a thread and ask away, always have someone who replies and helps out typically people who own the same exact car with the same problem that fixed it, idk i mean i know you wont be dissapointed with the G and its always a chick magnet lol reliability on the cars is superb, dont really deal with stealerships, and infiniti everyone knows is a higher end car, unless youre a JDM person and wanna call it a skyline lol i say do it!!!!
