Same here, I'm not planning on tracking it either. Yes the short tube seems like it is the winner for me as well. I might be getting mine much sooner then expected.

Do you have any updates on your install/thoughts on your K&N's? Happy with it? Just curious.

Brian, Did you get your K&N system put in yet? Its been a busy week but I've been loving it so far! I've been driving with it for the past week and man the way it howls! I definitely felt the car a tad bit more responsive so I think its able to get that air in better definitely. Makes me always want to floor it and drive in lower gears more often so it kicks in. You can definitely hear it kick in once you go past that 4500rpm range, not so much in the lower range but I think thats to be expected. Its quiet when you need it to be, drive your gf or parents around but sound mean when you want it. But to me its perfect, not too crazy but not bad either. Really compliments the exhaust I think. I might post a video of the sound but I dont know, it reallllyyyy wont give it justice.

Actually the only problem I found is that you cant rev it past 4500rpm when youre in park. But the air gets sucked in way more driving though. My friend drove it for me so I could hear it on the outside, its awesome.

Im also getting my car lowered today with Eibach springs. I chose those because I read its not crazy drastic where you have to worry about scraping your bumper while retaining a good ride quality. It was the 6390.144 part number if I remember. Ill update on some pictures after that gets done. Not sure if I needed spacers or anything (still confused on that) but we'll have to see how it turns out with the stock wheels.

Ill post pics of what happens with the drop!

Sweet. Thanks for the update. I actually got mine last week but I am planning to install them this Thursday. Hoping for a smooth install. I can't wait to hear these things for sure. I am glad to know that they are quiet when I need them to be. This will be my last update to the car for awhile.
