New from NYC
Hey everyone. So back in January, I got rid of my fully built MINI Cooper S and bought an '09 EX35 (Blue Slate, AWD, Journey). Opted for the EX instead of the G for two major reasons: 1. G's are everywhere in NYC and 2. If I could have the same platform as a G, but with a little more cargo space, why not?!
Wasn't going to modify the car at all, but who I am kidding. When I'm done, this too will be fully built. I'm taking my time though with this one (finished my MINI in a year). The car is an 09, but it only had about 20,xxx miles on it. So, I'm in no rush to finish. I do the majority of the work myself, which should add to this great experience.
Hope to see you guys and gals around

Thanks. I have big plans for the car. The first portion of the build shouldn't take that long. Only part that will take some time are the parts from Japan (finding them is not the issue, getting them to the US is a pain...lol)
The second phase will be rather interesting though, as I'm going for a custom FI (turbo and sc) setup. That'll be when this car is no longer my dd because everything will have to be reworked/fabricated.
