G37 Newbie

Hey guys,

I figured I would make a quick thread since I'm new to the forum.

I just picked up my 08 G37S, 6spd, silver on black. It currently has some Tein springs (they were installed when I bought the car) and I plan on throwing some new wheels and probably some Stance SS coilovers on it and maybe some adjustable arms and a bucket seat and hitting some track days.

Heres a quick shot from the first day I picked the car up.

And heres a shot of me test fitting some wheels

I am really pleased with how the car feels in stock form, its sort of like if my S14 grew up a bit and stole a few cue's from my old daily (GS300). It really seems like an awesome all around daily and possibly occasional track day car.

Heres a couple shots of my track car and long term project as well.. As you can tell I have a thing for Japanese cars...haha

My first car, old daily, and current track car

Nice intro for sure!
Good looking group of rides, sounds like some nice plans for your G too.
Might look into these RS-Rs in the classifieds, a very good coilover for a nice deal

Keep the stock wheels on there man. Your stocks are killing those, if you dont want them you willing to sell?

Man you're living my dream, always wanted an s-chassis just hard to come up on a clean unmolested one that doesn't have drift tax. Plus who doesn't want a g and a supra. Can't wait to your progress!

I would be posting them up for sale if I do get aftermarket wheels.. I may hold off for a bit and try to finish the Supra quicker.

Thanks man, and yea I got my S14 back in 2003, it was my first car, and a former lease car so I got kind of lucky on that one haha.
