So once upon a time I owned a 2004 Twilight 6mt with the sport pack (brakes and appearance) then it was totaled about 3 years ago.

It's been long enough and I'm in search of a new* car (used). I know that all the items in this list don't necessarily come in one package but the features with (*) next to them are high ticket items for me.

I guess the overall question is what do I look for and does anybody have any good suggestions on where to look. I live in ABQ so I'm definitely not opposed to having it shipped or going to get one.

Brake package*
Sport appearance
6mt OR
Auto (with paddle shifters and AWD) - leaning towards this option and looking for input.

I drove one of the autos with paddle shifters as a loner once and was really impressed (coming from someone who has only owned manuals).

As long as the model you get is a G37"S" it will come w/ the big brakes, bigger wheels, bolster-adjust seats, paddles (on the AT), LSD rear differential, and the cool red S on the trunk and different bumper. Probably a couple more things I forgot but those are the biggies.

My buddy has a limited edition malbec black sedan for sale here in Cali. 7AT with paddle shifters and low millage. I believe it is still slightly modded. Intakes, exhaust, coilovers and I'm sure he's willing to sell car as is.

 

Thx blnewt. Do you know if it's possible to get the S in AWD? If so I would assume they do something different with the rear end.

@ZOSTER although I'm going to be doing my own mods, I'm not looking to buy a car that's been modded in any way. Thanks though. Maybe it something about knowing exactly what work has been put into a car.

 

They make the S model in AWD but it's mainly cosmetic, doesn't have the big brakes or suspension upgrades but has the better seats, bigger wheels & paddle shifters so it would be an upgrade from the regular X sedan.
IMO the RWD w/ the S pkg is the way to go, and just get a winter set of tires if you head up to Taos regularly.
