NTM 2010 G37S 6MT Sedan

I've been a lurker but I just bought this G37S with stick, navi and everything I like. Im so happy I found a stick sedan. I cannot get over how much I love this car, the performance is amazing for its size.

Two questions, can anyone tell me what shade I have or how to figure it out. Second, anyone know where in NOVA I can go to figure out if this tint is legal for free?

Also already ordered my first mod, matching HID kit for the fogs

Congrats on the clean G, glad you found exactly what you wanted
As far as the color, the code is posted on the lower driver side door pillar.
Enjoy your new ride!

I know the percentage laws for tint in VA, I just have no idea how tinted the windows are or how to tell that. With my last used car I got pulled over and a nice ticket for having illegal tint, he didn’t seem to buy my legit argument that the previous owners put the tint on and I had no idea it was illegal. The Virginia State cop who gave me the ticket used some scanner to check the tint, going to see if any of my cop buddies have a tint scanner thing, but as they are cops in MD and DC I doubt it.

Most tint places in my area will throw their tint % scanner/reader on the window free of charge. The fact that someone would charge to do something that takes all of 5 seconds is mind boggling. Also a new G37 owner congrats on the immaculate S and lucky you found one with a 6 speed!

Oh I would assume tint places would charge for that I guess I’ll give one a ring
It was 18.5k, did you just buy yours as well? I ordered new white LEDs for the interior, LP, and reverse lights, hoping there not blue, don’t need to go back to "mad JDM tight yo" days.

yeah i bought it in may for 23 financed. i pay $360 a month. i was looking into that car and a 2011 civic si. I've had the pleasure racing some cool cars and am super satisfied with our cars performance and undeniable balance drifting around. i hope you enjoy your car and def. the white lights for the interior makes everything brighter to make the black leather stand out

Yeah i bout it over a Pontiac G8 GT, Mustang GT, or a 335 for a ton of reasons but a big one was i wouldnt put thousands into modifying it. Hopefully it stays that way.

Many have said "no mods" and changed their minds...

Well a 5.0 would be nice!!!! The Pontiac is a great car too. 50 cent owned one and was happy. Yeah if you would of gotten a 335i it wouldn't be days before installing the jb7. The g37 is a Skyline is Japan and so dont underestimate either. I had a 5.0 try to get away from me and I was surprised he couldnt. we were driving 85mph plus. Ours cars are undeniably best from a 60 roll.
