G37 coupe ... girly ??

I'm a 16 year old guy, and a sophomore in high school. The car I drive is a 2012 Slate grey g37 coupe with black interior. It has all the stuff like navigation and things on it, and I love it. My only problem is quite a few people at school call my car "girly" ... Are they right or do they have no idea what they are talking about ? BE HONEST PLEASE !!!!! Thanks

Really? Maybe it's because your 16 with a $40K car? Most members on this forum are guys and I suspect that the classmates are a wee bit jealous. Next topic

well, I find it could be either.... I bought my girlfriend a white coupe... it is what she wanted, but a grey on black coupe or black on black is manlier. I think it's a great car for a guy in high school.
throw a set of rims on it and drop it... totally changes the attitude of the car.

Oh, and welcome to the site, you will find tonnes of great information on here

They are just jealous. A civic is girly, a corolla, a fit, yaris, and many other subcompacts are girly. Your car is designed to GET girls. Big difference.

+ Miata, FRS, Scion, etc. That's a p***y getter if you do it right.

there are alot of different syles of rims, and different prices. you could start by browsing the galleries, and the wheel forums. like I mentioned in the third post... there is a tonne of information here... for my girlfriends car i got her a set of vossen cvt rims, they are a directional rim, so each side "twists" differently Name: 20140907_133715.jpg

Its probably a age difference in view. They probably think a riced up car is manly . They just don't know much about cars to judge them :/.

Is it the car or the driver that makes the car "girly"?

Not girly at all having a g37 is sophisticated, an excellent driving machine and a beautiful car they're just jealous, compact cars are more likely to be looked at girly like hondas, etc, nicd to have a g37 at 16 very lucky i say enjoy and you should be getting girls at school especially with the G👌

I drove a 1990 Plymouth Colt when I was 16 that never started on the 1st try, or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th. Count your blessings.
