Just joined here a few days ago figured I'd introduce my self and car. Picked up a 08 G37s with the 6 speed. I traded in my 08 F-250 diesel for it, loved that truck and had some work done to it. Dynoed at 575hp and 1,100tq. But I had to get a car after a transfer with work the fuel bill was way to much. I'm not new to this platform as I used to own a 370z and a 350z before that. Looking forward to reading around on here getting some good info and then modding the car. First up will be suspension and some rotors and pads then I'll probably go with some wheels and finally dig into the performance side of things. Well guess I'll see everyone around on here.

Thanks! Yep I have an addiction with modifying my cars and trucks. If anything I own stays stock for longer than 2 weeks my friends and family freak out and think there's something wrong with me. Lol. After looking around on here I realize not a whole lot has changed since I traded my 370z 4 years ago. Still the same names in parts and not a whole lot of new innovation.

 

Welcome man, lookin forward to seein what you have planned. As far as gas mileage, I hope you don't get too disappointed. These aren't exactly very fuel efficient.

 

Ha compared to my 6.4 power stroke this car is mpg machine. Best I could do out of that was 16 on the highway. I drive 90% highway and since I bought this car I hand calculated my last tank at 22.6 so I'm pretty dang happy in that dept. plus it only cost me $50 to fill this up, my truck was $120 lol. At the end of the day it's saving me money and feeds my need to mod stuff and have some fun when I want. I didn't buy the car solely for gas mileage. If that was all I cared about I would have bought a 4cyl Altima or something along those lines.

 

Lol, you're right. The g37 really is an improvement.
