Hey guys, I recently bought a G37s coming from a G35! Fell in love with the G37 after Infiniti gave it to me as a rental.... Those subconsciously advertising scums! But yea. Hi.. Guys.

No good photos but.. yea. Don't mind the HUGE gap. Tryna get some cushion in my bank account to get some coilovers :/

I had only 73k on my g35 2005.

The 37 i picked up is a 2011 38k miles.

Hate it when people ask me why I got the same car.
35 had the infamous leather seat tear and clicking noise over bumps.

Noticed that a few times when I brake the gear would drop to 1st with a thump. Should I get this checked before my warranty is up? Cant necessarily make this happen at will though :/

All in all I love this car except the constant car washes

That's just the revmatching downshifts, it can be pretty abrupt during hard braking.

Also I'm trying to get my headlight housing painted... however it seems like the 2011 headlights are somewhat blacked? What route to people go with these headlights?

 

It's a darker tinted chrome AFAIK, should be the same prep as the non-S lights. I'd be sure to change the lens to a TSX-R too, it's about $50 and provides a much cleaner cutoff and nice blue edge flicker. Here's a couple links that should help
