Hello all!

I am a previous 2005 Infiniti g35 owner. I just purchased my 2012 G37 and I have been having a few issues.

First of all, the passenger side air bag. Now I have read all the threads on this already and I still don't know what to make it of it. Some people here say that the limit is 120lbs, when the dealer tells me that it is a 135-145. Regardless, my girl friend weights 140 lbs and the light will sometimes be on, sometimes be off. It just depends. I understand that if I have nothing in the seat, the light will be off. Sometimes it is on. I had her drive my car today and I sat in the seat (235LBS) and the light remained on indicating that the air bag was off. I already took my car to the dealer and they told me that they reset the system and it is functioning properly. So they are giving me the run around. Does anyone have anymore insight to this? What fixed yours? It seems like all the others threads just have people that have given up and no longer care. I would like to get this resolved.


Secondly, I noticed that my moonroof doesn't go all the way back when I open it. My G35, it opened all the way. Is this normal? I have posted a picture of what it looks like as well.

Welcome to the site, moon roof range looks about like mine, and my 07 was also that way so should be fine. Can't help w/ the airbag issue, but is safety related so the dealer should make sure it's functioning properly. If you can show them firsthand that the light is on when you're in the seat they should be obligated to remedy the situation.
