Looking for a G, but notice rust on brake caliper. Should I worry?
Over the weekend I went to check out this 2008 G35X. However, I notice there are rust on the rear brake calipers (both sides). Funny, I didn't notice any rust on the front ones. Should I worry?

Nothing to worry about really, the base calipers only have a light coating over the cast iron so it's common. I would give a good check underneath in places that should be better protected and look for any rust on any body panels.

Cast iron will rust if you take notice to most cars you will see rust around the edges and the hub. This rust will also act as a protector not as pretty if you were to metal wheel brush off prime and paint but totally normal. Most rotors are replaced well before this would cause a problem.
