Looking to buy another Smart Key Witch, that's what my infiniti dealer called it.
Another words, my keyless remote. When I bought my 2012 G35 it only came with one remote. I'm looking on eBay and saw a few for about $70.00 or $80.00.
They come "un-cut". Does the dealer have to program this or can I go to a locksmith and what's the fee. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I have a 2010 g37x and only 1 key so I have looked a lot for myself.

I am assuming it is the same as it is for my car which is the smart key needs to be programmed by a dealership which runs around $90. I have heard of some auto key vendors that can program but I have not found any local in Chicago (haven't looked very hard).
I don't have the specifics but ebay is probably used keys for that price and you have to match the codes on the back (if you pull out the real key). It should come with a blank (un-cut) key which you should be able to get cut anywhere that sells keys.

I would ask the dealer for there prices on programming, than ask for a discount since it only came with one. worth a shot.
