From WRX to G37S
Hi everyone,
I had a 2004 WRX for 10 years and finally got into the G I've always wanted (since the G35 was too expensive at the time). Two months ago I bought a 2010 silver G37S sedan with Journey, Nav, and Sports package at a killer price CPO from a dealer. Was really sad to give up the WRX, but I finally sold it this weekend. The WRX was significantly modified with only the engine internals and turbo untouched, and it was mostly because I always felt it could drive "better".
I'm so much happier even with the stock G, I don't feel the need to mod it at all. Comfort and convenience level is way higher than the WRX, but the sporty character really beats it as well. Still, even though I told myself I'd keep it stock for a few years, I can't help myself and picked up the OEM front spoiler, sway bars, and 2013 19" coupe wheels. Audio may need an upgrade as well because the Bose still isn't as good as the aftermarket system I had before. Even though I'm an Infiniti noob, I have a ton of experience working on the WRX which will lend itself to working on the G. Maybe I can keep away from just engine mods for now...

Hello, and welcome. I'm in the same boat, I'm also new to the forums and to the Infiniti family. I traded my 08 STI in for my 2012 G sedan. My Dub was sign significantly upgraded as well, I had just over 12K in the motor alone. Although it was fun, quick, and sporty; I love my G just the way it is. I don't see myself doing any mods to it, other than maybe some wheels. I've learned so much about the car and all its "luxury" convinces in just the over the week that I've been on here. These guys are quite knowledgeable and have lots of good information!

I also went from a 2003 WRX wagon to a G37S Sedan.
I bought the WRX new and sold it with just under 140k miles. The only problem aside from regular maintenance (oil, filters, belts, hoses and brakes) was a radiator after about 8 years.
I hope the G37 is as reliable and trouble free as my WRX was.

Did you trade it in like that or did you go back to oem.
