Proud new owner of '11 G37x Sport Limited Edition
I finally got the car I've been wanting for a long time. Picked up my 2011 G37x Sport Limited Edition over the weekend from a dealership in San Diego. Got to drive it the 10 hours back home the same day. It's awesome! Even better than I had dreamed.
I will post pictures after I give it a bath (pretty dirty from long road trip home). It is the Limited Edition and has Malbec Black exterior with the red leather seats inside. Had to get the AWD model because I live in Lake Tahoe and it has to get me around through our snowy winters.
I do have one question... does anyone know how many of the Limited Editions were made in 2011? And out of the total made, how many of those were AWD (or x models).
I'm just curious to see how unique my car is. During my searching online through used cars on multiple web sites I only came across two of the Limited Editions listed for sale that were AWD, one in the New York area that was a 2010 I think (had graphite exterior) and the other was the one I purchased.

Nice pick up! I just picked up the exact car minus limited ('12 xs with black interior) saturday. I was searching for the xs black (malbec or obsidian) with black interior and know how tough the search could be. I actually came across 2 of the limited (2011) in the midwest, I live in Missouri, with one being in Kansas and one in Illinois. I almost got the one in Kansas that was about 3 hours away, but I drove 6 hours to Dallas because I found the 2012 in malbec for the same price as the '11 and had 20k less miles to boot.

I believe the number was 400 or 500 LE sedans, half were RWD and half were AWD. They also made an LE convertible, not sure how many of those.
Its definitely a "rare" car, but in todays world I dont think anyone really cares about rarity anymore (unless we're talking things like Veyron, etc)
Im just happy to have gotten one with the red seats. Too bad they didnt carry that over to '12.

RWD Limited Edition sedans and vert got 19" staggered setup, they are the same design as the 18s but larger diameter and staggered width (I dont know the exact width off hand)
The 2011 wheels were "hyper silver", the 2012 wheels are "dark finish". The hyper silver looks awesome IMHO, but apparently its hazardous to do it the right way (involves a base coat that contains lead). Not sure if thats why Infiniti changed or not.

Here's the pic of my new car
Thanks for all the comments. Here is a pic of my new car after it's first bath. Can't wait to drive it in the snow to really see what the AWD system can do.
