New owner 2008 g37
So I used to be an all american muscle kind of guy. Owned a 2012 v6 mustang which I regret to ever buy. I did everything to that car I possibly could and it still never reached my expectations. Why? Because it was a v6 mustang. My sister needed a car bad cause her Audi crapped out on her so I gave her my 2007 infiniti g35 and bought the mustang 2 years ago, biggest mistake ever. I missed it so dearly and I couldn't give into it anymore.
After I put everything on this v6 mustang, lowered, wheels, intake tune you name it, it still never reached what I wanted of it. So I went on a search for a new car. I was on a search for a SUV, bmwx5 or mercedes ml class. So I was walking through my mercedes benz dealership here in Florida and I looked in the used car lot because they had a used x5 for sale but sitting right next to it was a infiniti g37 journey 2008. There was no price tag on it or mileage yet because they just got it as a trade in that same day I went to look. So I asked some info about it, my dealer said: 2008 infiniti g37 journey coupe, perfect carfax, everything is perfect, interior exterior no scratches, no dents nothing no wear and tear either. So I asked how many miles, he says 10500. So as soon as he says that I offered him a price for it: 18500 cash today. And he accepted it.
Absolute steal in my eyes. Perfect condition head to toe. 10k miles sunroof leather navi AT, I fell in love and this making me the new owner of this beautiful infiniti g series that I love and missed so dearly.
Already bought a few upgrades for the car:
Stillen Gen 2 intake
Invidia Gemini cat back exhaust
I went and bought my exhaust because I had a huge rattle in my main muffler and I looked all over google and that's what brought me to these forums. I saw the bulletin on the problem most of these have and I took it to the mercedes dealership and they wanted to charge me 1300$ for the stock muffler change because it's the one thing that isn't covered by my warranty that I bought. So I went ahead and just looked and found a great deal for this exhaust.
Nice to be a part of the g community and I'm sure you all will see me around here! This is my new project car so I would love some input on what I should do next or any suggestions on anything for the g37.

Great first post, I guess that must've been the elusive "driven to church on Sunday" car, only 10.5k miles on a 2008 is unheard of. Congrats & welcome to the site, post up a couple pics when you can.

yes, yes. twin turbo it and then add a GTR badge to the right of that INFINITI logo, oh crap im drooling. i hope u didnt hurt your 'stang's feelings though, i mean would u sell it? it's quite the driver's car and does have its own fan base.......but personally i'd sell it to a good owner, you know sometimes cars have to go to new homes as well...it's all apart of the greater circle of life
