Show off first mod and opinion needed on rotors

Hey guys,
This is my first post besides my introduction post . I recently painted the inside of my headlights a semigloss black.this was my first time ever doing anything to a car, as I just recently started getting into cars . So I wanted to show it off.

On another note , I'm experiencing bad break judder . It started off small but has gotten worse and especially worse yesterday when I had to slam on my breaks to avoid a accident on the freeway .(if you live in you houston around 288 and 610 you know how crazy they drive ) . I was looking into Adams Rotors and the stop tech brakes they recommend with there rotors.

Does anybody have any input on this company ? I have seen many reviews but I always seem to think most reviews are fake and would like feedback from somebody that has had experience with them.

I'm open to other suggestions , but Money is aa factor .' Something around $800 rotors and pads I was thinking ?

It's a real bummer to because now I'm going to have to wait a little longer for the springs I planned on getting .thanks any feedback is appreciated

Welcome to the site, congrats on your G and your first mod! Lights look nice and not the easiest mod to start with
As far as brakes Adams Rotors has been a site vendor for awhile now and gets great reviews on a steady basis, should have no worry buying from them.

I can't give any feedback on Adams from personal experience because I've never used them. But $800 for rotors and pads is quite a lot IMO. You might explore other options.

-You can keep what you've got. Have your rotors resurfaced for about $20 each.
-Buy OEM type rotors from Centric or another solid manufacturer. A vendor like Rockauto.com will run you probably under $300 total, I haven't checked price lately. I replaced my aunt's Maxima rotors and pads recently for under $200 for the parts. I used StopTech pads. They've got them cheaper than anywhere.
-Spend a lot more on cool looking rotors with holes or slots or holes and slots. They are just as heavy as your OEM and won't give any significant performance advantage unless you spend a lot more and get 2 piece lightweight ones. They're a lot more expensive and still the only real advantage is reduced brake fade when tracking the car. Nothing you'll benefit from during street driving.

And from here on out please spell it as "brakes" and not "breaks".

It's up to you how much you want to spend.

Thanks! The lights didn't fit in my oven like I expected they would . There where some points were I got frustrated and just wanted to rip them apart when it looked like it was almost off. It was freezing that night to and I was working in the garage so the glue wasn't wanting to come off .

I will look into that site. I know your a veteran around here so if you say $800 is to much then it probably is ....

The only reason I wanted slotted or drilled rotors was purely for looks. I don't foresee any track use in the near future . But I defiantly would like a better performing brake rotor combo than oem .

I don't have experience from Adams Rotors but I recently purchased my drilled rotors from brake performance and have about 600 miles on them and they are working really well and they are smooth along with my new stop-tech brake pads. I bought them from that site because they had good reviews and to me they have really good pricing as well.

Nice and welcome to the forums. Yea you probably need new rotors. This happened in my car but the dealer messed up and gave me all new rotors for free so I didn't get a aftermarket one

Any O'Reilly Auto Parts will turn them for $17 each. Probably only need to do the fronts but it won't hurt to do all 4.

Sounds good, I'd also strongly suggest getting F&R camber arms & rear toe bolt kit to keep your alignment proper
